This smoothie tastes like a mix of berries with a hint of citrus. It provides 5 servings of fruits and vegetables (based on Canada’s Food Guide) and it’s packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. It’s perfect to make on the go as it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare. Enjoy this smoothie after a workout or in the backyard while soaking up the sun! ;)

Spinach // Spinach is the perfect vegetable to add to smoothies because its texture allows it to blend very easily. It also has a mild flavour that pairs great with berries and other fruits. Spinach is loaded with nutrients such as iron, calcium and fibre.
Blueberries // These berries got their label of “superfood” from their high antioxidant level which also gives them a blue colour. High in: Vitamin K, fibre, and Vitamin C
Blackberries // Blackberries also contain high antioxidants levels, as well as vitamin C and fibre.

Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup blackberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 orange, juiced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Handful or ice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to high speed blender until thick and creamy, enjoy!
