If you’re new to drinking smoothies than this is the perfect green smoothie to try out. It’s great because it has the benefits of green vegetables but won’t be able to taste them! The kale in this recipe is overpowered by the citrus flavours from the pineapple and orange juice. To be honest, it took me awhile to find a good balance of ingredients that I actually liked the taste of when it comes to green smoothies. Another great recipe to try if you are new to green smoothies is my Ultimate Berry Smoothie (it contains spinach instead of kale).

Brazil nut// Brazil nuts contain high amounts selenium and is a great source of healthy fats. Also high in vitamin E, copper, and fibre.

Description
A delicious smoothie packed with fruits and greens without tasting the greens!
Ingredients
- 1 cup of kale
- 1 large celery stalk
- 1/2 cup pineapple
- 1 plum (replace with apple if unavailable)
- 1 brazil nut
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Remove kale leaves from steam
- Cut celery, pineapple and plum into small pieces
- Combine all ingredients into high speed blender until creamy texture.
- Enjoy!
