Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a creamy, sweet and super nourishing smoothie recipe! Blueberries are sweet tasting and LOADED with antioxidants. One of the most antioxidant rich foods out there! For a creamy consistency, I like to add non fat vanilla Greek yogurt which is a great combo with the blueberries. To amp up the nutrient content, I like adding kale {although you can’t taste it}, and chia seeds for protein!
Super easy to make and perfect to bring with you on the go in a mason jar!
Oh and one more thing…
Make sure the lid on your blender is on tight otherwise you’ll be scrubbing the wall for days…haha
Creamy Blueberry Smoothie
- Total Time: 5 mins
- Yield: 1 1x
Description
Creamy texture, sweet taste and super nutritious! Loaded with good carbs, antioxidants, fibre and protein!
Ingredients
- 1 100g container of Non Fat Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 cups kale {regular or baby kale}
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender until thick and creamy consistency is reached.
- Pour into your favourite glass and enjoy!
