Kombucha has many health benefits and comes in a variety of flavours. It has a unique scent, which can be overpowering at first. I personally love drinking kombucha in a smoothie, that way I still get all the health benefits of kombucha, fibre from added fruit and a tasty smoothie!
What is Kombucha?
Kombucha has been consumed for thousands of years and is made by fermenting tea with cultures of yeast and bacteria. If you’re thinking, this does not sounds appetizing – it’s similar to yogurt in that yogurt is produced by bacteria fermentation of milk. Kombucha can be purchased at any health food store and most grocery stores {normally found in the fruit/vegetable section}. There are also easy at home kits to make kombucha at home yourself!

- Great source of antioxidants
- High in vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid

Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 bottle of Mystic Mango Synergy Kombucha
- 1 small handful of spinach {optional}
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender.
- Blend until liquid consistency.
- Pour into glass and enjoy!
