Trending recipes: Unicorn Toast
I love Instagram for many reasons. Being able to find such creative ideas through photographs is so inspiring and fun to look at. Last week I found out about Unicorn Toast which has been a top trend in the food world the past couple months. This was created by Vibrant & Pure and has been taking over Instagram ever since! And guess what? No artificial food colouring was used in this recipe. Only natural ingredients to get vibrant colours. I won’t go over how to get each colour because Adeline from Vibrant & Pure explains it all here but basically the base can be cream cheese (dairy-free or non dairy-free) or Greek yogurt. From there you have separate small bowls where you can create your colours! In the above photo, I used turmeric for yellow, spirulina for the green and crushed up freeze dried blueberries to get purple. Then you can spread each colour on the bread however you would like! I love looking at the hashtags #unicorntoast on Instagram to see other creations!
Be sure to check out Vibrant & Pure to see all your amazing creations!
I think this would be super fun to do for Easter with pastel colours!
Have you ever tried making Unicorn toast?
Thanks for reading! Recipe post should be coming up later this week!
