The warmer days are here {insert emoji with the sunglasses}! Today I want to share a refreshing drink that will help you keep cool while out in the sun! This Watermelon Lime Slush recipe has only 3 ingredients and it’s super easy to make. To get the slush in this recipe, I like to cut up the watermelon and add them to an ice cube tray to freeze. I prefer this to ice, as the ice will water down the drink whereas the frozen watermelon will provide flavour and nutrition!
Nutrition
Watermelon is high in water content – approximately 92% water! Although high in water, watermelon has many health benefits! It is a good source of vitamin C, potassium and magnesium. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and many antioxidants!
It makes the perfect summer snack!
